Lawsuits are filed between parties who oppose each other. It is a claim brought to court for order.

In order to file a lawsuit one must:

1. You must make sure your case is sound. Having a case that makes sense and can be backed up is totally important for one to start a lawsuit.

2. You must make sure there's no other way to settle the dispute.Perhaps the other person might have a real good claim and might surpass your reasoning. You would have to make sure you have a good claim and have the necessary evidence to back it up.

3. Money and location. One must make sure they have the money to hire a good lawyer. Lawsuits tend to be expensive, especially getting hard-working lawyers.
